Tomáš Jonáš Scored a Goal From 40 Metres

Defender Tomáš Jonáš scored a curious goal in the colours of Sparta Praha's reserve team. In the 7th round of the ČFL on Motorlet's pitch, he took advantage of a free kick situation after the home goalkeeper's foul, struck the ball with the inside of his foot, and from 40 metres it found its way into the net. VEDRAL RAMPAGED IN TŘINEC. TWO GOALS POLISHED OFF JIHLAVA'S VICTORY

Filip Vedral's new offensive role really suits him. In the FC Vysočina Jihlava squad, the newly-minted forward has already found the net three times this season. In the match of the 5th round of the FORTUNA:NÁRODNÍ LIGA in Třinec, he added two more notches to his tally with placed shots into the Třinec net. Slowly but surely he is becoming a goalscorer, as he was described in the match report. "I would still be cautious about that label, things are going well in front of goal for now, but I'm a long way from being a goalscorer. I have to confirm it over the long term with quality performances and more goals," says the Jihlava-trained player.
