Season Underway: Jurásek, Vedral, Jonáš and Ruml in Action

Both top professional competitions kicked off over the weekend, and the above-mentioned quartet of our players were involved in the first round. Matěj Jurásek (pictured) made his first competitive appearance for Karviná, coming on in the closing stages of the match against Pardubice (2:2) at Prague's Ďolíček. Filip Vedral added 86 minutes in a Jihlava jersey along with a 2:1 victory over Varnsdorf. Sparta midfielder Tomáš Jonáš has an excellent and winning debut (1:0) in the second league behind him, playing the entire match in Chrudim for the Letná reserves. The same workload was enjoyed at Juliska by Ondřej Ruml, who contributed to Dukla's 2:1 win over Vyškov.
